Keep a maintenance log. Document every inspection, every part replacement, every repair. Include dates, measurements, and what was done. This log is invaluable for tracking wear patterns, planning future maintenance, and diagnosing problems. A $10 notebook and 5 minutes per day will save you thousands.
Stock critical spare parts. Don't wait for something to break before ordering parts.
